I am a product development engineer based on Eindhoven, Netherlands. I am working in automotive industry but UX design is passion for me. While I was working, I took part in design thinking and UX projects, except for my main responsibilities.
Ipek Hasipek Demirci
I am İpek Hasipek. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Industrial Design Egineering.
For the 4 years, I worked as Product Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company . Since August 2019, I have been working as Product Development Engineer at DAF.
Although I worked as a product development engineer during my one-to-one communication with customers in my first task, I saw that we were insufficient about understanding the users and we were unfamiliar with the story of the product. User Experience and Design Thinking has became my special interest. I learned the concept of user experience with the lessons I took during my master’s degree and continued to improve myself as my special interest. While I was working, I attended to the trainings organized in the company and voluntarily supported the projects on this subject. By participating to the trainings I found outside the company, I tried to advance myself from different sources.
I still continue to learn and improve by participating in online trainings through the Interaction Design Foundation.
